Before and Afters

I'm putting together a Before and After Portfolio to start my interior decorating adventure. I've loved decorating for years but just recently decided to start helping others have a home that feels like the space was made for them.

Makeover # 1 for the project: Our house!
The before pictures are from when the previous owners were living here and the afters are ones I took now that we've been here for a year. 90% of the furniture and decorations were either given to us or purchased used. My mom, hubby and I spent weekends here and there to complete all the projects and the budget was next to nothing. Now it's getting nice outside so we'll be working on some updates out there seeing that last summer we were a little busy with a newborn and a toddler. :)

Here starts the Before and After's....

Slings!

Leesa wearing her 4 week old baby boy in her new sling that she picked out the fabric for.
He was comfy & cozy and now she should have an easier time chasing his energetic big brother!

I loved that she choose the polka-dot fabric for the lining, so I used it on the tail as well.

Hillary with her 4 month old, he likes to be able to check everything out and flirt with the ladies!

She can cover the turquoise rings with the tail for a nice pillow incase he doses off.

Big sister with her baby doll sling, just likes momma's!

Thanks to my lovely friends and their precious babies for making these slings look extra cute!

Elephants!

Carmen's sling.

Nursing cover, "hooter hidder", or my friend Meghann says "Coconut Cabana" ;)

Little everything bag- perfect size for a portable wipe case, a few diapers and maybe a pacifier and burp cloth.

The quilt I made for Carmen while I was nesting. :) Some of the fabrics are from my mom's old skirt, a shower curtain, a cute shirt from goodwill, sheets and an old family handkercheif.
